Vendor: Pars Ice Cream Company, Inc., Chicago, Illinois
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (“the Preserves”) to enter into an agreement
Reason: Seven companies responded to the Request for Proposals to select a mobile ice cream concessionaire for each of the Forest Preserves’ twelve regions. Pars Ice Cream Co, Inc. was deemed the most responsive and responsible vendor to operate the Indian Boundary, North Branch, Northwest and Poplar Creek regions. Pars Ice Cream Co, Inc. presented the strongest financial package and management plan for the coming term. Agreement subject to legal review.
Contract period: Forty Eight (48) months from the issuance of the Purchase Order
