Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (“the Preserves”) to enter into an agreement
Reason: Seven companies responded to the Request for Proposals to select a mobile ice cream concessionaire for each of the Forest Preserves’ twelve regions. Windy City Ice Cream was deemed the most responsive and responsible vendor to operate the Salt Creek region. Windy City Ice Cream presented the strongest financial package and management plan for the coming term. Agreement subject to legal review.
