Summary:
The Forest Preserves of Cook County has selected Marj Halperin Consulting to support various communications initiatives in the effort to raise the public profile of the Preserves as they relate to the goals outlined in the Next Century Conservation Plan. The communications consultant will work with the Communications Department to strategize, assist and execute events, public relations, media relations, crisis communications, overall messaging needs and other communications needs as directed.The contract period is for twenty four (24) months with a one (1) year option renewal. RFP’s were posted for a period of one (1) month and MHC was selected after a competitive public bid process. A selection committee evaluated all firms based on their responses to the criteria outlined in the RFP, experience, credentials and fees.
