Reason: FOTFP has received a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources' Coastal Management Program in the amount of $28,413.78 to support the restoration of sand prairie and sand savanna communities at Powderhorn Prairie and Marsh Nature Preserve. This project will restore 5-acres at Powderhorn Prairie by removing invasive trees that have impacted the natural structure of the site, and managing invasive plants. The Preserves desires to partner with the FOTFP to assist in completing this project by providing up to $20,000 in in-kind serves or a direct cash contribution
