More than 750,000 LED lights will illuminate the Garden in this family-friendly holiday tradition. Inside the Regenstein Center, enjoy a celebration of artistry, horticulture, engineering and imagination. Miniature trains pass by mini-replicas of beloved Chicago landmarks and sites, all hand-crafted from natural materials such as leaves, bark, and moss. Fee applies.

New to Wonderland Express this year are lectures from Bonnie McDonald, the President and CEO of Landmarks Illinois, who will be providing historical insight on the replicas of Chicago landmarks found throughout Wonderland Express, and doing a visual comparison. The December 5 events will feature a shortened family lecture; a more thorough lecture for adult visitors will be presented on Tuesday, December 15.
