Summary: Attorneys and paralegals in the Preserves’ Legal Department use West Publishing Corporation’s Westlaw site for legal research and online legal education. Attorneys and paralegals have access to over 7,000 legal education courses with varied content. The Preserves’ Legal Department receives a 50% discount on the West Illinois Compiled Statutes Annotated, which are approximately 145 volumes. Westlaw was selected after receipt of quotes and product offerings by Westlaw and a competitor. Westlaw offered the most comprehensive and competitive package.
