PROPOSED AGREEMENT
Organization: Friends of the Forest Preserves (“FOTFP”)
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (“the Preserves”) to enter into an agreement to accept a donation from FOTFP.
Reason: FOTFP wishes to provide a donation of up to $42,000 to the Preserves for the purchase and installation of up to twenty-one (21) benches and fourteen (14) bicycle racks along the North Branch trail for the convenience of trail users. The Preserves desires to accept such donation and to take the lead in purchasing and installing such benches and bicycle racks along the North Branch trail at specified locations. The expected outcome of this donation is that it will provide a significant benefit to the Preserves because the trail will now provide resting points for all trail users.
