100 YEARS/100 EVENTS: Celebrating the Forest Preserves 100th Anniversary
It's here! Check out the 100 Years/100 Events Activity Guide and website at fpdcc.com/100events. There are bird walks, hikes, art projects, restoration work, bike rides, nature play activities, star gazing, campfires and much, much more. Don't forget to come out for Cook County's Largest Tree Hug on Sunday, September 27 at 3 p.m.

Archery 101, Thatcher Woods, 8030 W Chicago Ave, River Forest
Relax and refocus after school or work. Instruction provided for ages 10 & up. Archery equipment is provided for all programs. Call 312-533-5751 for more information or to reserve a spot.

Look back 200 years to frontier life and enjoy food, music, crafts, reenactments, canoe races, games and more. Park free at UPS parking lot at Willow Springs Rd and 75th St and take the shuttle bus.
