Purpose: The Forest Preserves of Cook County has received support for its “Birding in the Preserves: An Initiative to Create Connections between People and the Forest Preserves through Birding” through a 50% match grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through Chicago Wilderness (CW). This project will expand the District’s programmatic capacity to promote birding to diverse audiences by leveraging partnerships and expertise available in the region.
Grant Amount: $40,000.00
