FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMOVAL OF HAZARDOUS TREES Department: Resource Management Summary: Request authority for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County ("FPCC") to reimburse Billy Casper Golf, Inc., Vienna, Virginia ("Billy Casper") for expenses associated with the removal of hazardous trees throughout the FPCC's golf holdings and driving ranges to prevent injury to persons and property. The cost of removing such trees is expected to exceed the costs of capital expenditures covered by Billy Casper on an annual basis pursuant to the terms of its existing agreement, which initially was entered into on 8/1/2002 and extended on 9/30/2008 until 12/31/2022, to manage the FPCC's golf courses and driving ranges. Summary:  Request authority for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County ("FPCC") to reimburse Billy Casper Golf, Inc., Vienna, Virginia ("Billy Casper") for expenses associated with the removal of hazardous trees throughout the FPCC's golf holdings and driving ranges to prevent injury to persons and property. The cost of removing such trees is expected to exceed the costs of capital expenditures covered by Billy Casper on an annual basis pursuant to the terms of its existing agreement, which initially was entered into on 8/1/2002 and extended on 9/30/2008 until 12/31/2022, to manage the FPCC's golf courses and driving ranges.

Estimated Fiscal Impact : Up to $500,000.00 in 2015 plus $750,000.00 in 2016.
