Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Forest Preserves") to enter into a contract with Chicago Commercial Construction, Chicago, Illinois, for recreation landscape improvements at Miller Meadow in Maywood, Beck Lake dog area in Glenview and Bremen Grove dog area in Tinley Park. Miller Meadow improvements include flying field relocation, access paths from parking lots to shelters, new off-leash dog area and a new loop trail. New shade shelters and gate improvements planned at Bremen & Beck Lake off-leash dog areas
Reason: Contract 13-80-02-06C4-R; Miller Meadow, Beck Lake, and Bremen Grove Site Improvements. The work includes, but is not limited to, site grading, fencing, concrete, asphalt, drainage piping, new shelters, swipe card system, landscape restoration, and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
