Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Forest Preserves") to enter into a contract with Chicago Commercial Construction, Chicago, Illinois, for site improvements and interpretive elements at Deer Grove East near Palatine and Killdeer Meadow near Tinley Park, including new signs, stone seating and sculptural elements
Reason: Contract 13-80-02-05C4-R; Deer Grove and Tinley Creek Site Improvements. The work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, stone trail installation, concrete paving, arched bridge, landscape restoration, signage and other interpretive elements, and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
