Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Crowley-Sheppard Asphalt, Inc., Chicago Ridge, Illinois, for parking lot and airfield improvements at Morrill Meadow in Palos Hills.
Reason: Contract 14-80-18, Morrill Meadow Parking Lot Improvements work includes, but is not limited to, pavement removal and replacement, asphalt resurfacing, drainage repairs, concrete curb & gutter removal and replacement, drainage ditch and erosion control improvements, paint pavement markings, new asphalt path and asphalt runway construction, backfilling, landscaping, and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
