Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Path Construction Company Inc., Arlington Heights, Illinois, for reconstruction of Camp Dan Beard near Northbrook, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-03-008-C is for the reconstruction of Camp Dan Beard. The reconstruction of the camp ground includes, but is not limited to, construction of year-round cabins, small cabins, a toilet/shower building, picnic shelter and redevelopment of an existing cabin known as the Baity cabin. The project also includes landscaping, development of trails/paths, site furnishings, utilities, site development, parking, signage and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.

Estimated Fiscal Impact: $2,061,200.00
Contract Period: Three hundred and fifty (350) days from notice to proceed.
