Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Trees R' Us, Inc., Wauconda, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 14-31-103 consists of the removal, topping or pruning of one thousand and ninety seven (1097) trees, due mostly to impacts from the Emerald Ash Borer, in accordance with the Preserve's specifications in Region 2, Northwest Division. Trees R' Us, Inc., Wauconda, Illinois, was the lowest responsive and responsible of three (3) bidders.
