Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Groundskeeper Landscape, Inc., Orland Park, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 14-31-104 consists of the removal, topping or pruning of seven hundred and eighty-four trees and the removal of seventy one additional stumps, due mostly to impacts from the Emerald Ash Borer, in accordance with the Preserve's specifications in Region 9, Thorn Creek Division. Groundskeeper Landscape, Orland Park, Illinois, was the lowest responsive and responsible of three (3) bidders.
