Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF CONRAD DRUST WHEREAS, Almighty God in his infinite wisdom has called Conrad Drust from our midst, and WHEREAS, Mr. Conrad Drust was born into life on July 6, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, and WHEREAS, Mr. Drust was a life- long Cook County resident, an avid outdoorsman with a passion that carried over from his personal life into his professional life; and WHEREAS, he served the district in many capacities including as an instructor for the District's Outdoor Education Teacher Workshops at what was then called Camp Sagawau, which is where he met his wife Patricia; and WHEREAS, they married on October 19, 1968, together they had two children and he was a proud grandfather of three grandchildren; WHEREAS, Mr. Drust was a 41 year employee of the Cook County Forest Preserve District, he began his career at the CCFPD as a Naturalist Aide at the River Trail Nature Center, in 1965 he became a full time naturalist, throughout his career he...

IN MEMORY OF CONRAD DRUST  
 
WHEREAS, Almighty God in his infinite wisdom has called Conrad Drust from our midst, and
 
WHEREAS, Mr. Conrad Drust was born into life on July 6, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, and
 
WHEREAS, Mr. Drust was a life- long Cook County resident, an avid outdoorsman with a passion that carried over from his personal life into his professional life; and
 
WHEREAS,  he served the district in many capacities including as an instructor for the District's Outdoor Education Teacher Workshops at what was then called Camp Sagawau, which is where he met his wife Patricia; and
 
WHEREAS, they married on October 19, 1968, together they had two children and he was a proud grandfather of three grandchildren;

WHEREAS, he was instrumental in opening the Crab Tree Nature Center, which he later became the director of which he served until his retirement until December 2007, and
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and the Forest Preserve Commissioners of Cook County offer their deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Conrad Drust,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this text be spread up the official proceedings of this Honorable Body, and a suitable copy of the same be tendered to the family of Conrad Drust, that his memory may be so honored and ever cherished.
