PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Robe, Inc., Chicago, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-54 is for the Demolition and Disposal of 13 existing camp ground buildings, structures, and foundations at Camp Reinberg in Palatine. The project also includes the installation of tree protection fencing, asbestos abatement, LBP mitigation, hazardous materials abatement, and miscellaneous items noted on the plans and in the specifications, as well as backfilling, top dressing with topsoil, seeding and mulch of the disturbed areas and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
