PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with J&R 1st in Asphalt, Inc., Hickory Hills, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-02-07C1 is for resurfacing the parking lot and the runway at Schiller Model Airplane Flying Field. Work includes, but is not limited to, asphalt pavement repairs to existing parking lot, reconfiguration and restriping of the asphalt parking lot, an asphalt pavement model airplane runway, an ADA asphalt pavement walk from the runway to the parking lot, site grading with seeding and hydromulch, and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
