PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Conservation Land Stewardship, Inc., Elmhurst, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-02-01C2 is for shoreline stabilization at River Trail Nature Center. Work includes cutting and removal of existing sheet pile, construction of limestone slab rock ledge, earth excavation, topsoil seeding and erosion control blanket, storm sewer maintenance and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
