Goods or Services: This agreement will allow the City of Chicago Heights to participate with the Preserves in the construction funding for a ¼ mile portion of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") Thorn Creek Bicycle Trail Project on property owned by Chicago Heights from 14th Street (Lincoln Highway) to 16th Street. The cost for the City's segment is estimated at $128,497.55 of which the City will be responsible for 20% ($25,699.51). The Preserves previously received the Illinois Department of Transportation's ITEP (Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program) funding for all phases of Engineering and Construction for the 4.75 mile Thorn Creek Bicycle Trail Completion.
