Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Plata Corporation, Chicago Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-01 G3R3 is for constructing building improvements at the North Police Headquarters, Highland Woods Golf Course, Crabtree Nature Center, Deer Grove Subdivision and Northwest Resource Management Headquarters. Work includes interior renovations, exterior renovations, ADA improvements, life safety improvements and a new storage building at various sites and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications.
