Summary: This extension will allow the River Forest Park District (“RFPD”) to continue to use the Cummings Square baseball, softball and soccer field located on the corner of Lake and Bonnie Brae Streets in River Forest, Illinois. The RFPD will continue to perform field work and outfield drainage on an ongoing basis, including the addition of infield mix, proper edging of the infield edges, backstop and sideline fence repairs and grading work in the outfield at Cummings Square in exchange for non-exclusive use of the Cummings Square baseball field. RFPD’s use of the field will not interfere with any Forest Preserves programming at Cummings Square.
