Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Preserves”) to enter into a contract with Trees “R” Us, Wauconda, Illinois.
Reason: Contract #16-31-121 consists of the removal of nine hundred eighty (980) trees, three (3) of which require pruning in accordance with the Preserves’ specifications in Region 4, North Branch Division. Trees “R” Us was the lowest responsible bidder of the five (5) bidders.
