Summary: Contract #15-31-119 consists of comprehensive landscape design, irrigation and drainage system consultation, tree planting and maintenance, turf restoration, and landscape protection and maintenance services throughout the Preserves’ holdings.
The contract was posted on the Preserves’ purchasing website. The Preserves then assembled a review panel comprised of various Forest Preserve staff and outside experts who considered Clauss Brothers’ proposal the most responsive, including particular strengths in experience with projects of a similar scale, expertise, proposed approach, and capacity to perform all aspects of the work as detailed in the specification. A total of four (4) proposals were received.
