Summary: The Forest Preserves is seeking to extend this existing Intergovernmental Agreement with CCDOTH due to delays in completing trail projects that have been authorized for Motor Fuel Tax funding by CCDOTH within the original term of the Agreement. The extension would also allow additional time for final closeout and invoicing of project costs by Forest Preserves contractors and final billing of the required local match for federally-funded projects by the Illinois Department of Transportation.  Final amendment is subject to legal review and approval.
