PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Department: Planning and Development
Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves District of Cook County (the “Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Western Remac, Inc., primary place of business 1740 International Parkway, Woodridge, Illinois to furnish and install new gateway signage at Skokie Lagoons, Dan Ryan Woods, Thatcher Woods, Bemis Woods, Deer Grove and Palos, as well as other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
Reason: 17-80-015 Gateway Signage Districtwide. The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing new vehicle and pedestrian directional signs, entrance signs as well as custom designed interpretation kiosks and other work as described in the drawings and building specifications.
