Walk & Talk Hike: LGBTQ2S+ Environmentalists, LaBagh Woods, Chicago
Celebrate Pride Month with a nature walk highlighting local and national LGBTQ2S+ conservationists. Registration required. This event will be held at Grove 1. Please call (773)758-8899.

Gone Fishin' Day Camp, Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington
Spend a day investigating fish, their habitat, making fish crafts, and learning how to cast.
We will go fishing at a local lake the next day. June 14th is part of the State of Illinois Free Fishing Day and parents without a fishing license can fish with their children. Registration required. Ages 7-12. The cost is $20 per child. Parents must sign a release form for the participant. Registration, fee, and forms must be completed in-person at the nature center. Teen Exploration Day: River Kayaking 101, Schuth's Grove, North Riverside
Learn how to kayak on moving water. The class will include a 3-mile trip down the Des Plaines River. Registration required. Ages 13 and up. Instructions, equipment, kayaks, and a shuttle will be provided. Please call (312) 533-5751.
