PROPOSED AGREEMENT
Vendor: Fox Run Group, Allentown, New Jersey
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into an agreement
Reason: Contract 19-40-431-R is a request for a consultant to manage sponsorship and temporary naming rights sales for Forest Preserve facilities and programs, including campgrounds, trails, aquatics centers and other opportunities.
The Forest Preserves issued two (2) Requests for Proposals in 2019 and received two (2) responses to the second RFP. A multi-departmental review committee determined that the Fox Run Group was the most responsive to lead this program, which is intended to provide a new source of non-tax revenue to support the Forest Preserves operations and programs.
Upon the Forest Preserves receipt of the Gross Revenues, the Forest Preserve shall remit to Fox Run Group an amount equal to eighty percent (80%) of the Gross Revenues, until the Consultant has received $50,000.00 within a calendar year. Once Fox Run Group has received $50,000.00 within a calendar year, the Forest Preserve shall thereafter remit to Consultant an amount equal to twenty (20%) of the Gross Revenues received by the Forest Preserve for the remainder of the calendar year.
Contract period: 5/19/2020 - 12/31/2022; with two (2) two-year optional extensions to be exercised at the discretion of the General Superintendent
