Summary: Contract #17-31-105 is a Request for Proposals for professional engineering services to study, define, and propose practices to mitigate non-point source pollution (i.e., storm water runoff) at the Powderhorn Lake site in Burnham. The project is being funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources’ Coastal Management Program. The Forest Preserves is requesting a four (4) month contract extension to bring the contract in line with the expiration of the grant, and to account for inadequate weather and ground conditions.
