PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "District") to issue a Job Order Contract with AGAE Contractors, Inc., 4549 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60630, to provide design build services for Building Program Contract 13-80-01 bid package 2R1 though a comparative government procurement procedure under Cook County's Job Order Contracting Program.
Reason: Building Program Contract 13-80-01 Bid Package 2R1 includes providing design build services for building improvements including life safety, ADA and locker room renovations at Skokie Resource Management Headquarters, Glen Grove Equestrian Center and North Branch Maintenance Headquarters. Three contractors were invited and actually attended a walk-through of the proposed job site. Only two of the three, however, submitted bids.
Approval for entering into and executing contracts with Cook County's Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program.
