Summary: The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Appraisal Services, No. 20-60-005273 on March 11, 2020, to develop a list of qualified appraisers. Five (5) firms were deemed to be qualified and Professional Services Agreements were executed with a term of 5/6/2020 to 5/5/2023. On April 18, 2023, Polach was engaged to complete appraisals of several parcels for potential acquisition. Polach inadvertently completed some of this work after the end of the contract term. This work is valued at under $15,000.00 and can be covered under the existing contract amount. This request is for a time extension only. The Forest Preserves recently issued an RFQ for a new pool of appraisal firms and the vendor is included in the new pool.
