Summary: The Forest Preserves currently uses the services of Alia Drug Testing (“Alia”) for on-site alcohol and controlled substance testing, including, without limitation, legally required random testing for CDL holders and post-accident testing. The Forest Preserves is seeking to increase the value of the contract to account for increased headcount and increased testing. Alia was selected pursuant to a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) in accordance with the Forest Preserves’ Procurement Code. Alia has provided on-site alcohol and controlled substance testing services to the Forest Preserves since 2018.
