Summary: The Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) seeks authorization from the Board of Commissioners to enter into a three (3) year Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with DES to share the costs of membership and other services with ICLEI USA.
This MOA is part of a coordinated effort with DES to maintain shared membership with ICLEI USA, and it will establish shared responsibilities, including the cost-sharing of membership dues and access to ICLEI programs, resources, and services (See Board Item No. 26-0423). The proposed shared membership reduces costs for both DES and the Forest Preserves. Final Memorandum of Agreement subject to legal review and approval.
