Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves District of Cook County (the “Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Ujamma, Inc., Chicago, Illinois to perform building renovations including the addition of a heating system for Skokie Resource Management garage in Glenview, Illinois.
Reason: 16-80-38 Building renovations including addition of heating system at Skokie Resource Management garage. The work includes, but is not limited to the addition of a complete interior wall and ceiling insulation with facing system, a heating and exhaust system, an underground gas line, upgrades to incoming electrical service, associated electrical re-work at interior insulation, other improvements to an existing metal garage building, and other work as described in the drawings and building specifications.
