Purpose:  The Forest Preserve District of Cook County has received a grant award from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), through its Five Star and Urban Waters Restoration Program, to support restoration and community outreach activities at LaBagh Woods in Chicago, Illinois. This project is a partnership that includes the Chicago Park District, the Bird Conservation Network, Chicago Ornithological Society, Chicago Audubon Society, Lincoln Park Zoo’s Urban Wildlife Institute, Greencorps, and Friends of the Chicago River.
