Summary: The Forest Preserves seeks authority to purchase mowers, power equipment, parts, and supplies from Arlington Power, based on Omnia Partners Contract #20469 with Exmark Manufacturing Company, Inc. The Landscape Maintenance Department would like to purchase four (4) Exmark 144-inch-wide zero-turn mowers, power equipment, and parts in 2026, with the ability to purchase more in 2027 as the budget allows. These highly maneuverable, wide‑area mowers will significantly increase operational efficiency by allowing staff to maintain large open grassy areas across the Forest Preserves in substantially less time. Arlington Power Equipment, Inc., a local authorized Exmark dealer, supplies tractors, mowers, outdoor equipment, parts, and supplies.
