Report Title: REDI Position Paper Part II: Amplifying Diversity and Inclusion

Summary: The Forest Preserves' first Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) position paper was developed by the Conservation and Policy Council and focused on strategies to promote racial equity throughout the Forest Preserves; it was adopted by the Board of Commissioners in 2020. During the past two years, the Council has worked with staff and stakeholders to develop the second part of the REDI position paper which focuses on Amplifying Diversity and Inclusion and recommends actions to broaden the Forest Preserves' racial equity lens to include additional dimensions of diversity and inclusion.
