Summary: The Forest Preserves has approximately five hundred (500) portable toilets placed throughout the Forest Preserves annually. Under this contract, Service Sanitation, Inc. (“Service Sanitation”) will place and service approximately two hundred (200) long-term portable toilets for daily patron use and three hundred (300) short-term portable toilets for permitters who purchase portable toilets as add-ons to their permit. The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Proposals (Requisition #17000014599) for these services and received two (2) responses. The Forest Preserves’ evaluation committee determined that Service Sanitation was the more qualified vendor of the two submissions.
