Summary: The Forest Preserves of Cook County would like to extend and increase its contract with Lakeshore Recycling Systems, Inc., which provides Refuse and Recycling Disposal Sites for Region 3 by exercising the two (2) one-year extension options. The Forest Preserves intends to end this extension in February 2026 to coincide with a new request for proposals on waste contracts. Region 3 consists of the Northwest and North Branch Divisions.
