Summary: A contract increase is needed for additional drainage improvements at Ted Lechowicz Woods and Chippewa Woods and for additional repairs for the Edens Trail Underpass. A contract extension is needed due to delays in acquiring permits for Chippewa Woods as well as inclement weather conditions delaying mobilization to the site. The project was originally approved by the Forest Preserves of Cook County Board of Commissioners on 7/23/2024 (Board Item No. 24-0292).
