Summary: This contract is for the supply and delivery of nineteen (19) ChargePoint Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers from ChargePoint area distributor Carbon Day EV Charging of Wheeling, IL for use in the charging of Forest Preserves Electric Fleet vehicles. The purchase of these EV Chargers will help the Forest Preserves reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions by enabling the use of Electric Vehicles in the Forest Preserves' Fleet. The nineteen (19) EV Chargers will have dual heads and allow a total of thirty-eight (38) fleet vehicles to be charged overnight. The Forest Preserves intends to install these units in house with IBEW Local 134 electricians. The ChargePoint units were chosen from a pool of six (6) EV Charger companies.
