Summary: The Forest Preserves put out a request for proposals (RFPs) for management and operations of the three (3) Aquatic Centers from June through September. CELTS Pool Management was selected out of two (2) respondents. The Forest Preserves will pay the management fee plus expenses. The Forest Preserves will receive all revenue from admissions and programming as well as a share of concessions revenue in the form of a set fee and a percentage of sales.
The CELTS management team ran the Forest Preserves Aquatic Centers from 2016 to 2021 as Swim Chicago Southland and understands the operational needs of all three (3) centers.
CELTS best articulated their vision for managing the aquatic centers to meet the needs of the community and the Forest Preserves, they have the experience necessary to run the point of sales system that is in place and provide the financial and other reports necessary to run the Aquatic Centers.
