Department: Department of Facilities and Fleet
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a contract with Global Water Technology, Inc., primary place of business South Holland, Illinois, for water filtration services.
Reason:Contract #74000010877 issued under RFP #22-53-007662R is for the maintenance of water filtration services for Camp Bullfrog, Camp Shabbona, Swallow Cliff and Maple Lake Boating Center. RFP # 22-53-007662R was posted publicly twice with the first posting producing no respondents. After the second bid posting, we received one respondent with suitable pricing.
