Summary: A contract increase and time extension are needed due to unforeseen construction issues at a bridge located at Edgebrook Golf Course (structure ID FP #339). The construction drawings in the bid documents were based on the original design plans. During construction, the Vendor discovered existing bridge conditions that did not reflect the original design (missing anchor rods and concrete variances). This led to formal plan changes, cost increases and Construction Revision #2 being issued by the design engineer. This item was originally approved on September 19, 2024 (Board Item No. 24-0294), and the board subsequently approved a contract increase on July 1, 2025 (Board Item No. 25-0255).
