Summary: Effective 12/18/2017, Cook County entered a three (3) year contract with vendor for drug and alcohol testing. On 4/24/2018, the Forest Preserves Board of Commissioners approved the Forest Preserves piggybacking off the County contract to realize cost efficiency.
In 2020, Cook County exercised the first of two (2) renewal options and extended its contract with the vendor through 12/17/2021. The Forest Preserves seeks authorization to continue to piggyback off the County contract and to increase the contract.
