Summary: The Forest Preserves is seeking authorization to enter into this proposed contract on a sole source basis for the monitoring of fire alarm systems and associated equipment at its Salt Creek Maintenance Headquarters in North Riverside.
The proposed contract is to maintain these required services for an initial period of five (5) years, followed by automatic annual renewals until terminated. The Forest Preserves will comply with applicable procurement code provisions to increase, as needed, the contract amount for any renewal term(s). If the Forest Preserves elects to terminate this contract at any time during the initial five (5) year term, payment in full for the remainder of the five (5) years is required.
