Summary: The Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the “Preserves”) would like to exercise its option to renew Contract #12-31-105 for an additional twenty-four (24) months, effective immediately. Contract #12-31-105 consists of comprehensive tree planting, landscape maintenance, and landscape design services in accordance with the detailed specifications, throughout the Preserves’ holdings. The original 3-year contract was approved by the Board on September 11, 2012, with a two (2) year renewal option. Clauss Brothers’ past work performance on and quality of product has been exemplary. They have consistently demonstrated that they are responsive to the needs of the Preserves, and the Preserves stand to benefit from our continued partnership.
