PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a Partnership Agreement with American Humane, Washington, DC.
Reason: The Forest Preserves would like to pursue the American Humane Conservation Certification for its Ambassador Animal program. The Certificate requires a five-year partnership agreement.
Contract Period: 12/1/2022 - 11/30/2027 Five (5) years from the date of execution of the Partnership Agreement or issuance of the Certificate of Approval by American Humane, whichever is later
Fiscal Impact: $25,000.00 (FY 2023 $5,000.00, FY 2024 $5,000.00, FY 2025 $5,000.00, FY 2026 $5,000.00, and FY 2027 $5,000.00) Not to Exceed $50,000.00 (FY 2024 $10,000.00, FY 2025 $10,000.00, FY 2026 $7,500.00, FY 2027 $7,500.00, FY 2028 $7,500.00, and FY 2029 $7,500.00)
