Title: PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the "Forest Preserves") to enter into a Partnership Agreement with the Poplar Creek Prairie Stewards, Sleepy Hollow, Illinois. Reason: The Poplar Creek Prairie Stewards, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, have received a $27,000.00 grant through the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation's Community Stewardship Challenge Grant program supporting 10 acres of habitat restoration at Schaumburg Road Grasslands in Streamwood. The project consists of invasive shrub clearing and the coordination of at least twenty (20) volunteer workdays, which will engage local communities in stewardship through hand removal of herbaceous plants and the collection and dispersion of native seeds. PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

 

Request:  Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a Partnership Agreement with the Poplar Creek Prairie Stewards, Sleepy Hollow, Illinois.
